Overview

Marauder Racing

Marauder Racing is a horse racing company preparing to establish a distinctive presence in the sport. Its identity needed to unite the speed and power of the horse with a recognizable team system that could support race-day communication, equipment, uniforms, and transport.

Challenge

The brief called for a stylized wordmark incorporating a horse illustration while working within the selected racing colors of light blue, black, and white. The system also needed a compact secondary mark that could bridge the visual identity of the jockey, horse, and wider racing operation.

Solution

I developed a forward-moving horse illustration and custom athletic wordmark, supported by an MR monogram inside a diamond. A repeating diamond pattern references traditional racing silks and gives the brand an ownable graphic device across uniforms, equipment, and promotional pieces. The light-blue, black, and white palette delivers strong contrast and carries consistently through jockey apparel, saddle gear, race-day graphics, merchandise, and the branded truck and trailer.
