Minnie Chung
A calm, balanced personal identity for a therapist and mindfulness practitioner, built around an abstract floral symbol and a soothing jade palette.

Overview
Minnie Chung
Minnie Chung is a therapist whose work centers on mental wellness, meditation, self-help practices, and tranquility. The identity needed to feel personal and calming while giving her practice a recognizable symbol that could support both client materials and physical wellness spaces.
Challenge
The client did not want an initial-based monogram and instead wanted an abstract mark that could represent the practice while subtly acknowledging her East Asian heritage. It also needed to feel inclusive rather than feminine-only and communicate balance without leaning on predictable wellness imagery.
Solution
I designed a symmetrical floral form enclosed by a circular field of dots, using repetition and balance to suggest focus, harmony, and a clear state of mind. A soft jade palette reinforces calm and renewal while remaining broadly welcoming across audiences. The mark scales cleanly from business cards and mindfulness workbooks to frosted glass, reception signage, and interior meditation environments.
